Greetings in the Name of our Lord,

Coming Soon! The next few weeks are going to be full of opportunities to celebrate the ministries and outreach of Stonebridge UMC. Invite friends and family to join us for the special worship and ministries planned for the coming month. 

  • August/September Sermon series – We will be dealing with some of the tough questions of our faith. Why is there so much violence in the Old Testament? What if I can’t forgive? Does God really care about me? Why is there suffering in God’s creation?

  • September 7th – Bring a Tithe Sunday and Malvern Recognition Day - This Sunday, we will practice radical generosity. We are asking each family to prayerfully consider giving one-tenth of their weekly income (a Biblical tithe) for one Sunday. Also, we will celebrate our work with Malvern Elementary by recognizing the host of volunteers that serve the needs of the school’s teachers and students. 

  • September 21st - 30th Anniversary Celebration: Imagine Our Next 30 Years - One service at 10:00 am to celebrate the history of Stonebridge UMC and imagine the future. Celebration Hall will be full of special guests. Our worship will feature special music from an expanded Celebration Choir and the Bridge Band. Lunch will follow at 11:30 am in the RAC. It is going to be awesome! Make your reservation for lunch by September 14. 

  • September 28th is the Kickoff for our Harvest Box collection – Each fall we collect food and prepare boxes for Meals on Wheels. This is our opportunity to serve the underserved in our community. 

September is just the beginning of the fall and Christmas season as we imagine the next 30 years of ministry together.
