Student Leadership Team

This is for students 7th-12th grade. It’s an opportunity for students to have a voice in the youth group's services, games, programming and more.

Expectations for student leaders are that they are able to participate in services on Sundays, as well as participate Wednesday nights for Bible Study.

The Leadership Team meets once a month to plan events, develop outreach for other students, and plan ways for us to have an impact on our community through acts of service.

+ Youth Service/Scholarship Sheet

Stonebridge UMC and the Student Ministries of SUMC strive to make each youth activity and trip available to all students. Youth activities should exemplify that church is a place for everyone. So, we are offering a service/scholarship program for youth activities that have a monetary cost.

It is important for students to learn about work, the value of money, and a lifestyle of gratitude. It is our goal that every student who receives will be able to give back in some form. When we are blessed, we are called to bless others.

Every hour of ministry in service will equate to $15 of scholarship towards their trip or activity. Hours must be worked before the actual trip or events and thus may not be used on an IOU basis. Please fill out this form and return to [Madison Fitzgerald][2]. [2]: mailto:madison@mysumc.org

+ Adult Volunteers

Adult volunteers are always needed to teach Sunday School for both our middle and high school classes and to lead small groups on Wednesday nights. If you are interested, please contact Pastor Eric for more information. All volunteers are required to complete the Ministry Safe training and an online background check in order to work with minors

A Medical Release form is required for all trips out of the McKinney area. It must be notarized and is valid for 1 year. Click here to download a form.
