Stonebridge United Methodist Church is well known across the community for it's amazing music ministry. From the beautiful sounds of the Celebration Handbells, to the heavenly voices of the Celebration Choir, to The Bridge band, to the tender voices of the children's choirs, the music ministry draws our hearts closer to God through the powerful music it provides
Celebration Choir
The Celebration Choir is primarily responsible for providing special music for Celebration Service, memorial services, and special occasions. All are welcome to join this amazing group of talented singers, regardless of experience level. Practices are held Wednesday nights at 7 p.m., and are open to all adults college-age and older. Celebration Band
The Celebration Band provides the instrumental accompaniment for Celebration services and many other special functions throughout the year. The incredibly talented group of musicians are professional instrumentalists with extensive experience performing in a wide variety of musical styles. Band members must be able to sight-read standard notation, chord notation, and perform with very little rehearsal. Anyone wanting to serve the church through the Celebration Band is invited to contact Tracy Lastrapes.
Bridge Band
The Bridge Band repertoire is made up of modern contemporary praise music and modified hymns. Worship leaders and other praise vocalists are accompanied by electric guitars, drums, and more. For more information about the Bridge Band, please contact Becky Middleton.
