An Exciting Week Ahead

Greetings in the Name of our Lord,

I am so excited about all that is coming in the week ahead!

Sunday, July 5th – Full Breakfast and Worship

We will be serving a full breakfast and celebrating one combined worship service during the July 4th weekend. Breakfast begins at 10:15 a.m., and worship will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the RAC. We are expecting a full house for worship! The men’s group and our hospitality team have been working tirelessly to prepare for a joyful morning of food, fellowship, and worship at Stonebridge UMC.

This is the perfect Sunday to invite friends and family to enjoy a delicious breakfast and a meaningful, joy-filled time of worship together.

Vacation Bible School - July 6-10

Most of all, I am thrilled about Vacation Bible School, which begins Monday, July 6th. Molly Gardner, our Director of Children’s Ministry, and her incredible team of servant-hearted volunteers have been transforming our church into a vibrant rainforest adventure.

The kids will step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, a world overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, they will plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. Together, they will explore what it means to be rooted in a relationship with Jesus – a safe place in life’s storms.

We are expecting 200 kids and more than 100 volunteers. Each morning, Celebration Hall will be filled with energy, laughter, worship, and a joyful celebration of what Jesus means for our lives together. It is going to be awesome! This Sunday, come see the decorations for yourself. You WILL be amazed!

Bring-a-Tithe Report

Thank you for your generosity. Wow—Stonebridge UMC is amazing! Your response to “Bring-a-Tithe” Sunday was more than I could have possibly imagined. The outpouring of generosity made this past Sunday not just a great day, but a great week of giving. Thank you for helping make our growing ministries possible.

Sunday, I will continue our sermon series "Diving Deep Into Faith" by focusing on trusting God in all things. Our scripture is the great commandment – “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength…” (Matthew 22:34-40)

Have a great July 4th! See you Sunday!
