Accepted, Loved, Encouraged, Comforted

There is a place here at Stonebridge UMC for Young Adults. We have two groups where all walks of faith and life are not only accepted but encouraged, where love is constantly shown to all, and questions are expected. In this stage of life, we are always asking, "What's the next step?". Come figure that out with other Young Adults, in a community where you can be encouraged and comforted by the word of Christ.

Testimony at the Tavern
1st Thursday of the month, 7:30 p.m.

We gather together in bars and restaurants at Village on the Parkway in Addison. These evenings provide a space to ask questions about faith and what it means to be a Christian in our own lives. Our group is currently reviewing and interpreting the parables.

Grounded
3rd Thursday of the month, 7:30 p.m.

We meet right here in downtown McKinney. This is a night of in-depth study, discussion of faith, and learning what it means to be in community. We are currently walking through the “Christmas story” told four different ways throughout the Gospels.

Get Connected and Live Well

If you want to meet new people here in your own community, and reach further into what it means to know Christ, then please come join us in discussion, as we figure out how to live well in the world of today.
