STUDY TITLES and FACILITATORS
A Mile in Her Shoes $10 MC 256 Dina Steiner
A video and workbook-based study designed to explore the faith journeys of six Old Testament women – Deborah, Rahab, Hagar, Abigail, Hannah, and The Widow with the Oil. We will discuss not only the Biblical stories, but applications for our daily lives and activities to bring us closer to God through the examples of these brave women.
A Life Worth Living $5 MC 255 Suzy Cass
How do we in fact live life to the full? Based on Paul’s letter to the Philippians, a Life Worth Living is a practical and positive guide to achieving exactly this, uncovering in us a new heart, new purpose, new attitude, and a new confidence to the way we live our lives.
Living Above Worry and Stress $10 MC 254 Janet Shieldes
Our hearts are overwhelmed. We are stressed out. We are worried. We dread tomorrow. In the midst of all this everyday turmoil, our hearts are longing for a place of peace. We know God has promised to calm our fears and give us rest, but we barely have time to whisper a prayer. If you have been struggling, come. Take a little time to explore your Bible, and find some practical guidelines for laying aside fears, worries and even stress. You really can discover a place of peace.
A Woman and Her Relationships $15 MC 257
Relationship is an important part of a woman’s life. It’s through their relationships to others that most women find definition and purpose for their lives. But no matter how healthy the relationship is, there’s always room for improvement. Rosemary Flaaten explores the connection between one’s spiritual relationship with God and her relationships with others. She examines the attitudes and actions that women use to interact with the people in their lives and shares the key to improving them. From communicating with their husbands to relating to their kids to caring for their friends, Flaten shows women how to transform their other relationships by first transforming their relationship with God.
