The Bridge... A New Experience in Worship
10:30 a.m. in the Robertson Activity Center
The Bridge is a unique worship experience unlike any other in our community in that it allows people to come as they are, let the Holy Spirit fill their hearts, and worship Jesus Christ in a relaxed, rejuvenating manner. The contemporary music provided by a variety of worship leaders and The Bridge Band add a musical flare you won't experience with any other worship service.
All are welcome to come and worship as you are, however the typical dress for The Bridge service is casual.
Children's Sunday School is also offered at the 10:30 a.m. hour and childcare is available in the nursery for little ones. Visit the Bridge Kids Children's Ministry page for more information on Children's Sunday School and/or Nursery.
A special children's area is also set up in the back of the Robertson Activity Center.
November 27- "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving": This "Peanuts" classic asks some important questions, while also connecting the audience with the original purpose of Thanksgiving. What happens when unexpected guests arrive at the table? Is it still Thanksgiving when the meal is non-traditional? In the end, what are we thankful for and why does it matter that we show gratitude?
December 4- "How the Grinch Stole Christmas": Dr. Seuss confronted the materialism of Christmas in a profound way through the story of the Who's and their arch-nemesis, the Grinch. Yet the Grinch comes to a powerful understanding, "Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas means a little bit more."
December 11- Lessons and Carols: The story of Christmas in Scripture and in song at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in Celebration Hall.
December 18- "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer": This Christmas favorite reminds us all that each one is blessed with gifts- talents, abilities, interests- that can be shared for the benefit of all. In a day where differences are often criticized, Rudolph celebrates the contributions that each person has the ability to make.
December 24- "Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown": The Christmas Eve message will explore one of the greatest Christmas TV specials of all time. While Lucy obsesses with the perfect Christmas pageant, Linus reminds his friends what the Christmas story is really about.
Bring the whole family and join us for a beautiful evening of Christmas Eve services with candle light. Multiple services are offered and the 6, 7, and 11 p.m. services will include communion service.
