Outreach and Support Groups |

Stonebridge United Methodist Church offers various support groups for our church family and the community. Please contact Toni Grace in the church office more information on the following support groups: GriefShare Spring/Summer Session Although there is no cure for grief, there is support for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. The Fall session of Grief Share will be held on Thursday evenings September 2-November 18, 2010 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Room MC252. To register, please email Cindy Halderman. DivorceCare Seminar and Support Group DivorceCare Seminar and Support Group is a 13 week program and participants can join anytime during the 13 week session. There is also a children's class, DC4K (DivorceCare for Kids) for ages 5-12. Childcare for children under 5 (contact Lisa). The cost is $12 per participant with a $30 family max. Cancer Support Ministry The Cancer Support Ministry is a "Dialogue" Cancer Support Group open to men and women with all types of cancers, their family members, their caregivers and/or friends. Also, information packets are available with community resources and support groups. If you, a family member or friend has been diagnosed with cancer and would like to receive a packet, or if you have questions, contact Becky Neeley, Care Coordinator, at 972-529-5660.
