International Missions
Living Water International - Stonebridge UMC partners with Living Water International to travel to remote areas in countries like Honduras and Guatemala to drill water wells that provide clean drinking water. This amazing team brings the love of Jesus Christ to His people not only through clean drinking water but through their love, hugs, and witness.

Guatemala 2013 - The next missions trip to Guatemala will be October 5-13, 2013. Cost is $1,900 and scholarships are available. More information will be available soon. Contact Trey Worley at tworley@comerica.com for more information or to sign up.
Cuidad Juarez, Mexico- Every year, the Stonebridge UMC missions team (and anyone else who want to join them!) travels to Juarez, Mexico through Proyecto Abrigo to build cinderblock homes for families who live in extremely inpoverished conditions. Through the eyes of these families, Jesus Christ's light shines through - and through the works of the mission team, His word and love are spread throughout the community. On each trip the team leaves on a Thursday evening and returns the following Sunday evening. Cost is $400 per person and includes round-trip airfare. Passports are required. For more information, contact Trevor Castilla at tcastilla@sbcglobal.net.
Operation Christmas Child - Operation Christmas Child is sponsored by Samaritan's Purse each October. Our church family purchases plastic shoe boxes and fills them with small toys, hygiene products, games, clothing, etc. so that children overseas will experience the joy of Christmas. For more information, contact Candy Kapischke, Director of Bridge Kids Children's Ministry, at candy@mysumc.org.
