International Missions

Cuidad Juarez, Mexico

Every year, the Stonebridge UMC missions team (and anyone else who want to join them!) travels to Juarez, Mexico through Proyecto Abrigo to build cinderblock homes for families who live in extremely poverished conditions.  Through the eyes of these families, Jesus Christ's light shines through - and through the works of the mission team, His word and love are spread throughout the community.  On each trip the team leaves on a Thursday evening and returns the following Sunday evening. Cost is $400 per person and includes round-trip airfare. Passports are required. For more information, contact Trevor Castilla

The next mission trip to Juarez will be May 13-16.  No construction experience is needed; just a willing heart to serve people in need. Contact Trevor Castilla to register.

Living Water International

Living Water International is a mission program to build new, sanitary water wells in remote areas that otherwise do not have clean water to drink or use for household purposes. This vital mission opportunity also teaches proper hygiene practices to the people in local communities, while sharing the love of Christ with all those around them. The LWI team has traveled to Honduras and El Salvador and will be going to new places in 2009!

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is sponsored by Samaritan's Purse each October. Our church family purchases plastic shoe boxes and fills them with small toys, hygiene products, games, clothing, etc. so that children overseas will experience the joy of Christmas. For more information, contact Candy Kapischke, Director of Bridge Kids Children's Ministry.
