Bridge Kids Children's and Family Events

Bridge Kids Children's Ministry hosts many children and family events throughout the year! The events are wonderful ways for children to learn more about our Savior Jesus Christ and his unfailing love for each and every one of them.

Vacation Bible Camp
The largest in McKinney, Stonebridge UMC's Vacation Bible Camp (or VBC) is a fun-filled week of learning Bible verses, Bible themes and more! Last summer, over 525 children and 250 volunteers made the week truly special.

3rd Grade Bible Presentation and Exploration
Each October, our each one of our 3rd graders receives their very own Adventure Bible during a special presentation especially for them during Celebration Service. After service, the children and their parents are invited to a Bible Exploration class where they learn more about how to effectively use their new Bibles.

Journey to Bethlehem
Journey to Bethlehem is an Advent celebration for the entire family. Held the first Sunday in December each year, families come share breakfast together, make fun crafts, play games and watch a special musical performance by the children's choirs. Journey to Bethlehem is a wonderful way to begin the Christmas season!

Holiday Bazaar
Held in November, the Stonebridge UMC Holiday Bazaar is a special fundraising opportunity for the Bridge Kids Children's Ministry.

Parents' Night Out
Bridge Kids Ministry is pleased to announce a new fundraising program called "Not Just Another Night at the Nursery" Parent's Night Out. Held the first Friday or Saturday of the month, parents enjoy a night out while there children play together in a nurturing and safe environment.

Summer Childcare Program
Got things to do? Got places to go? Got people to see? Then bring your kids to Stonebridge UMC! Bridge Kids Children's ministries will be offering childcare during various weeks throughout the summer for children ages 6 wks - sixth grade. Childcare will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. Children will participate in fun, age-appropriate activities such as gym, movies, crafts and more!
